General Information:
What types of polymer parts do you fabricate?
We typically make custom sized and designed metal detector funnels, tubes and chutes but can also help with many other projects that may require machined or fabricated plastic parts.
How do you ensure quality control?
This is usually defined by the customers needs and process used. We will work with each customer and individual project to ensure a consistent product and quality standard.
Are your products FDA compliant?
LinkTech mainly makes parts for food packaging and processing applications so our materials are FDA approved for direct food contact.
Orders and Shipping:
What is the typical lead time for orders?
Our normal items like the custom funnels, tubes and chutes can generally be set up, made and sent out in 2 weeks or less from receipt of order. Individual projects and parts can vary by quite a bit but we will strive to meet the customers needs to the best of our capabilities.
How do you handle international shipping?
We will work with each customer to ensure their parts are delivered in a timely manner. For international shipments, that will usually involve sending them to a freight forwarder to handle the customs and duties involved.
Product Customization:
Can your products be customized in terms of size or material?
Yes. We make custom parts to meet the customers requirements and needs to the best of our abilities. Standard or stocked parts can be arranged but we are mainly making customized pieces in small quantity runs.
Materials and Safety:
What materials do you use for fabrication?
We mainly use FDA approved, polyethylene based materials like HDPE or UHMW to create custom made parts much like with sheet metal. We can also machine a wide variety of plastics and can offer recommendations as needed.
Are your products safe for contact with food?
Yes, if it’s for a food application, we will use FDA approved materials.
